John20. "Going Home?" Sunday April 1, 2018 9am
Jesus, has gone to his heavenly home. Let us, make sure, that we, are on the right road, for our Journey, to our heavenly home.
Jesus, explains that he, is the only way, to heaven; John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John, gave us the key, heaven’s door and life in verse 31, 31But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
Like the women at the grave, many, are searching for the path, to our heavenly home. If people, would do, like Jesus said, in Matthew 6:33, we would be assured, of being, on the right road, to home; “seek ye first the Kingdom of GOD and his righteousness and all these things will be added unto you”.
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
The greatest event, in human history, is described, in John 20. In the fullness of time, GOD’s own time, GOD sent his son, Jesus, to die on the cross, and then to resurrect him, to glory in heaven. Because he lives, now, we too, can live.
Through the power, of the Holy Spirit and the word of GOD, let us walk, in faith.
Following GOD’s word, and with Jesus, as our savior, we shall, have a truly, happy, blessed, Easter and we, are on the correct road, for our journey, home.
