John 5. “Be Made Whole?” Sunday February 25, 2018, 11am

What is our real quest in life? Are we seeking to be made spiritually whole for heavenly pleasures as often as we ask to be made physically whole for earthly pleasures?

Can we stop for just a moment and ask the Lord to be with us and make us spiritually whole? Most people do not know why we go to church, it is to hear the word of the Lord and to follow it.

Jesus tells us, that many know the scriptures, but are not obeying them. Let us follow these scriptures: Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

John 20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

What a difference this will make in our lives. We will not be for outward show, but have that loving and kind heart that the Bible talks about. 1st peter 3 describes this. 3Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; 4But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

Let us walk in peace, comfort and joy, being made whole by the blood of the lamb.

A. Believing the scriptures Thou art made whole 1-16
B. The scriptures witness that Jesus is doing the work of GOD. 17-30
C. Reading the Scriptures confirms that Jesus is GOD=s son 31-39
D. Do not seek human honor, but the honor that comes from GOD. 41-44.
E. Moses’ words condemn the unbeliever. 45-47
May GOD through his son Jesus our savior bless you with his grace and peace multiplied.
