Matt16 "Son of the Living GOD!" Sunday September 17, 2017 11am
Matt 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and "Thou art the Christ the Son of the living GOD."
Have we answered as Simon Peter did and allowed Jesus to be Lord of our life? If we study our scripture, we will understand that he is already Lord of all.
However, as impossible as it seems, we can stop the Lord of all from being Lord of our life. Those of us who want him to be Lord of our life need to study the scriptures daily to seek inspiration, encouragement and instructions to allow this to be. We must do all things as if the Lord was standing beside us and whispering encouragement for each step we take, because he really is there.
Making mistakes, by not following, GOD's word, is a time of sorrow, but we must not let it, make us, give up.  We also should encourage the sinner Aus@, to ask forgiveness and know that we are forgiven. Satan's spirit of evil would have us believe one of his lies, that because of the sin in our life, that GOD does not want us and that we do not deserve his forgiveness.
That is why we need to study the scriptures, and to be in a Bible teaching church. Jesus who died on the cross for our sins is ever telling the father that we are one of his. The Bible has so much to offer because of our savior Jesus. The encouragement, love, instructions can only stay fresh in our minds for comfort and peace through constant Bible study and prayer.
We need to encourage people to remember to pray without ceasing.
We need to understand, if we do not now Kneel and confess that Jesus is Lord, we will do it at the end of time, much to our sorrow!
A. Christians have no need of a sign, we already have Jesus. 1-4
B. Beware of letting others' sins influence our life. 5-12
C. Only through the power of the Holy Spirit can we confess that Jesus is Lord.13-20
D. Going against GOD's word is taking up Satan's cause.21-23
E. Finding that full and abundant life by losing it for Christ sake. 24-28
May GOD bless you through Jesus his son with His grace and peace multiplied
