Matt14 "The Greatest Discovery" Sunday September 3, 2017, 11am

The greatest discovery we can make in life is to discover that A
"of a truth, thou art the son of GOD". Pray for everyone we meet to make that discovery.

Even though we follow GOD commands, we still can face a storm in our life.
1 Peter 4:12 12Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

People use a lot of clichés when someone is facing a fearsome battle, whether real or imagined. Such clichés as GOD is good all the time, or GOD will not let us down, or GOD has not failed us yet, or GOD will not put more on us than we can handle. It is as if, well that takes care of that, you should be comforted and you  should be all alright now.

What, is most needed, is an understanding look of compassion, a hand reached out, or a hug, and helpful words like this, GOD does love you, I love you. I will pray for your full relief, from what is troubling you. I am so sorry for your predicament, please know that I stand with you in your battle and you do not have to face it alone.

Just like us, Jesus' disciples, often panicked, even though, they were with, the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, and we think, that nothing, should have bothered them, but it quite often did.

Concentrating on GOD and his word, will help us build an effective barricade, against all the assaults of the enemy
For He Himself has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you. So we may boldly say: The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me? (Heb 13:5B6).God is our refuge (Psalm 46:1). Nothing can break through His shelter of protection.

Does not mean we will not be tempted to fear, but as we fear, let us remember God's words of assurance, Abe of good cheer, be not afraid,  I have overcome the world.
