1cor13.  "Real Love" Sunday March 12, 2017, 11am
The Basis for Real love starts here.
22:37-40  37Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38This is the first and great commandment. 39And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Joh 14:15 ¶ If ye love me, keep my commandments.
Joh 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
We must follow GOD’s commands, without expecting, praises or thanks, we just enjoy doing GOD’s commands. Love is an action verb, we must not let our emotions, keep us from doing GOD’s will; many times, we do not feel like doing GOD’s will. But with a calm demeaner, we should move to do that which GOD commands us to do, knowing that it is good for us.
We have been given many gifts, maybe great faith, or the gift of helping every poor person we find. However, we must use these and all gifts, not for the praise of man, but to be in the love of GOD.
Humbly we must not be puffed up, beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
Proverbs 3:5-6 lays the ground work for all things we do. We may feel the call of GOD to do certain things, and the Bible says that we are to do all things as unto GOD. Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths
Our greatest deeds are for naught if not done in love. 1-3
When all fails about us, love never fails. 4-8
We have limited knowledge now; on that day will be made perfect. 9-12
Of all the gifts, Love will last forever. 13
GOD bless you with His grace and peace multiplied
