1 Corinthians 2. "Eye nor Ear?" Sunday Morning, 11am, January 7, 2017

We need to open our eyes to study the scriptures and listen with our ears the scriptures being preached and take the scriptures to heart. Let us work together to receive the great blessings that GOD wants to bless us with.

1 Cor. 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

Eph 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, 21Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

Paul said I came to you with gentle words, so you would not be tempted to have faith in the preacher, but that your faith would be in the powerful word of GOD.

Let us not be concerned with how great a speaker our preacher is. Paul tells us to just preach Jesus Crucified and let the Holy Spirit take charge of the message.

Churches, pastors are trying to make each message unique and appealing to the senses of their congregation. Paul tells us do not feel you have to be the greatest preacher, just tell them the old old story of Jesus and his love.

Let the word of GOD on the wings of the Holy Spirit fly into the hearts of the hearers. Let the power of GOD do its work, and let everyone want to take into their life, the pearl of great price.

  1. Without fanfare, Preach Jesus Crucified. 1-5
  2. GOD reveals himself by the Holy Spirit to Christians 6-10
  3. Knowledge of carnal man versus spiritual man 11-16
  4. GOD bless you with his grace and peace multiplied
